Take a step towards caring for God's creation
by making at least one "Green" resolution for 2009.

A few Suggestions:

• Add one new item to your recycling this year.
  ( ink cartridges, batteries, newspapers, magazines, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and glass bottles ) 

• Save paper and conserve trees by saying NO to ATM receipts and gas pump receipts.

• Conserve water by turning off the water while you brush your teeth.

• Reduce the use of plastic bags by taking your reusable bags when you go to the store.  (contact the church office if you need a First Church Going Green canvas bag - cost $3)

• Save additional paper by electing to receive The Steeple by email.

• Reduce the use of toxic chemicals by using green cleaning products.
  You can even make your own with vinegar, baking soda, borax, etc.
